LCMS Business Solutions was formed to offer due diligence for decision making support for both the Venture Capital and Business communities. MedTech based, the company offers skill sets and experience at a level often unavailable within these groups, and where full time employment of such resources would be inappropriate. Primary diligence is undertaken by LCMS founder Graham Lay, experienced within both multi national and start-up environments

Services

We offer a range of services. We provide analysis, reports and recommendations for businesses, investment opportunities, product and product/project planning. We provide clear, objective reports at the level you need.

Our Process

Irrespective of the service option chosen our approach is the same. Many staff have met the 'Corporate Seagull' and, not unreasonably, are cautious discussing information concerning their roles and activities. To undertake a meaningful review requires access to all areas of the business and all staff without any constraints on what they may or may not discuss. To be successful requires that that there is complete honesty between the interviewer and the persons interviewed.

We are paid to give a clear and objective assessment of the business or opportunity and we work to satisfy those objectives. All discussions are confidential.

Decision support

Decision support is the provision of appropriate information to enable informed decisions to be made. The scope of such information is wide, including not only the obvious technical and market parameters but also internal components such as company politics and management interfaces. Investment decisions need to be made on the basis of impartial objective data. Business Solutions provide this independent impartial position. During any review we'll automatically but sympathetically follow up on apparent inconsistencies in whatever functional area they appear. To provide an accurate overview of any opportunity requires that all of the information relative to the project is revealed. We'll do that.

Business Solutions is part of Lay Consulting and Management Services which provides consultancy services into both the Venture Capital and General Business communities. Our primary focus to date has been in Medical Devices (Capital and Disposable), BioTech and Measurement Technologies. Business Solutions is based in Cambridge England.
