Technology review

For new product proposals we’ll review the intended technology (technologies) with a view to ensuring that they can meet the requirements and expectations set for them. (examples here would be the ability of radio solutions to meet range, error rates, power budgets etc). We’ll also check to see what competing technologies already exist or are in use. Depending on how much focus you specify we can look at Intellectual Property implications and protection.

We can review manufacturability and manufacturing costs. We’ll look at materials to consider fitness for purpose and costs. We’ll propose alternatives for materials, process, procedural controls etc – all the way to consideration of most cost effective manufacturing locations.
